We have provided a binder with all kinds of information for your use at the cabin. It is located on the table as you walk in along with the gate pass for you use at the resort. It includes these rules with additional information, and instructions on using the fireplace. You will find brochures for restaurants, hiking, golfing, biking and many places to go and things to do here. We have provided a guest book, and would love to hear about your stay here.

Accessing The Gate:

You will be sent directions to get to the cabin and also which gate you are to access. There are four gates into the resort. We will send you through the gate that is closest to your cabin. All four gates are manned. PLEASE bring your confirmation with you, it will tell the guards what lot you are going to and also who you are. Mountain Resort pays $25.00 to access the gates and your name will be at the gate upon your arrival. There are 7000 lots inside the resort, it is a 10,000 acre area, PLEASE make it easier on our wonderful security people by bringing your information. Our office is open Mon thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Sundays. If you need to call us to access the gate because you forgot your information, you will be billed for one of us to come to the gate to get you in. Please Bring Your Confirmation With You.

If you get lost within the resort, the guard will be able to help you with directions. There is security here 24 hours a day and if needed security personal will help you to your cabin. Directions to the cabin have been driven by Mountain Resort and are completely precise. If you follow the directions and make proper turns, you should have no problem getting to your cabin.

Things to Bring With You:

  • Flashlight for opening the lockbox.
  • Beach towels for the pool.
  • Laundry soap. A Washer and Dryer is in the cabin.
  • Phone card or 800 access number. Some cabins have phones for local calls only.
  • The code for the lockbox
  • A copy of these rules.
  • Charcoal for the charcoal grills.

Miscellaneous Supplies

  • Linens are provided for the beds. There will be one clean set up for your stay. There is a washer and dryers in the cabins if you feel the need to wash the sheets while you are there. We also suggest you bring beach towels for the pool.
  • Extra blankets and pillows may be found in the bedroom closets.
  • Cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink.
  • A vacuum cleaner is located in the cabin.
  • You can purchase wood from many of the trucks along the road in Ellijay that sell it. Please Do Not Burn Leaves or Trash

Garbage

There are animals in the woods who will be very interested in your garbage, so you MUST make sure the garbage can lid is on tightly and that you do not simply leave garbage outside in a plastic bag. We have provided garbage bins outside the cabin. Please make sure the garbage is bagged, tied and put in the garbage bin. Garbage bags are provided under the kitchen sink.

Telephone, Internet, and Cell Phone Access

  • You will be provides the number for the cabin with your confirmation.
  • The telephone is blocked for long distance calls. Please bring a phone card with you or use an 800 access number to make long distance calls or connect to the internet. It will be dial up connection.
  • Some cell phones will not work in the cabins.

Owner's Closets and Cabinets

There may be locked cabinets in the cabins for the owners supplies. Please respect the owners and do not try to access these cabinets.

Access to Amenities

You are allowed use of the amenities at the Coosawattee River Resort. You will be provided a white card that will be punched when you access any amenities. One punch is good for (4) four people. You may call the main number of the resort for hours of operation. The number is 706-276-1060.

A map is provided in the cabin for you. If you are going tubing we suggest you go to the Eagle Mountain General Store right next the Eagle Mountain gate before the stables promptly at 10 AM the day you are going to be sure you get on the tube run.
